🇬🇧 Step-by-Step: Read & Reuse Community Passages
① The Public Library on the Reading hub shows passages other learners have generated and shared. It is the fastest way to find high-quality content without generating your own. ② Filter chips at the top let you narrow by CEF level, topic, and popularity (most-liked, most-copied, most-recent). ③ Each public passage card shows: title, level, topic, like count, copy count, and the contributor name. ④ Tap a card to open the passage in read-only mode. Everything else (word popover, highlights, narrator, quiz, vocab panel) works exactly the same as your own passages. ⑤ Like a passage with the heart icon — your likes signal popularity for other learners and reward the author. ⑥ Bookmark a passage to keep it in your "Saved for later" list at the top of the Reading hub. ⑦ Copy a passage into your library to make it yours: edit, re-attempt the quiz, run it through the audio narrator. Your copy is fully independent of the original. ⑧ Share your own passages: on any passage page, tap "Share to public" to publish — a moderator approves before it appears in the library. ⑨ Tip: copying a passage is more pedagogical than just reading it — re-doing the quiz on a passage someone else built tests genuine comprehension, not memory.
